Sea Freight FAQ

What is the difference between FCL and LCL?

FCL (Full Container Load) means you book a whole container, which suits larger volumes. LCL (Less than Container Load) shares container space with other shippers, which is more economical for smaller shipments. Our team tells you where the break-even point is for your cargo.

Which Egyptian ports do you work in?

We handle export and import cargo through Alexandria, El Dekheila, Damietta, Port Said, East Port Said, Ain Sokhna and Adabiya, and choose the best gateway for your cargo, carrier and inland delivery point.

How long does a quotation take?

We reply within 24 hours on business days (Saturday to Thursday) once the route, commodity and Incoterm are confirmed. Use our online quote form to reach the sea freight desk faster.

Can you handle reefer, dangerous or out-of-gauge cargo?

Yes, subject to carrier approval and the right documents. Reefers need the set-point and ventilation details, dangerous goods need the IMO class, UN number and MSDS, and Open Top or Flat Rack equipment is arranged on request.

Can you deliver to my door?

Yes. Our own GPS-tracked trucks deliver from all 7 ports to factories and warehouses across Egypt, and our customs team clears the cargo before it leaves the port.
