01About these terms
By using globalmarine-eg.com (“the website”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
The website is run by Global Marine Logistic (“GML”, “we”, “us”), a freight forwarder based in Alexandria, Egypt.
02What the website is for
The website gives general information about our sea freight, air freight, land transport and customs clearance services, and offers free tools:
Everything on the website is for guidance only. It is not an offer, a contract or legal advice.
03Quote requests and prices
Sending the quote form, the contact form or a WhatsApp message starts an enquiry. It is not a booking and does not commit you or us.
- The price, schedule and conditions for each shipment are confirmed in writing in our quotation. They depend on space with the carrier, sailing or flight dates and the cargo details.
- Freight is quoted in US dollars. Local charges, such as port, customs clearance and trucking costs, are quoted in Egyptian pounds.
- Invoices are converted at the bank exchange rate. The rates in our currency tools are for guidance only and are not used for invoicing.
04Our tools are a guide
Transit times in the Sea Route Planner are approximate. Some shipping lines still route around the Cape of Good Hope, which adds days to the voyage.
Container sizes and loading suggestions, Incoterm summaries and exchange rates are general guides. Port data, rates and carrier schedules change without notice, so please confirm with our team before you book or make a commercial decision.
05Information you send us
Please make sure the details you send are accurate and complete, because our prices and plans are based on them.
- Declare dangerous goods clearly and send the safety data sheet (MSDS) and the UN number.
- Tell us about temperature-controlled or oversized cargo.
If the cargo turns out to be different from what was described, the price and arrangements may change.
06Using the website fairly
Please do not:
- send repeated or automated messages through our forms;
- copy or collect the website’s content with automated tools;
- try to disrupt the website or reach parts of it that are not public;
- use the website for anything unlawful.
07Content and trademarks
The website’s text, images, branding and design belong to GML or are used with permission. Please do not copy or redistribute them without our written consent.

08Shipments and liability
The carriage of goods follows the carrier’s bill of lading or air waybill, the international conventions that apply, and the terms in our written quotation for that shipment.
As far as the law allows, GML is not liable for loss that comes from using this website or relying on its tools.
